Steven Dykes reads Blake Morrison’s account of the crimes of Peter Sutcliffe, jailed in 1981 for the murder of thirteen women. Written in a rural West Riding dialect, the poem evokes an ancient tongue to depict an all-too modern attitude. Contains explicit accounts of sexual violence.
